Strongly agree with the article recommends that the handwriting is important still in keyboard age.

For myself, I use computer for writing articles or slides. Normally before I draft a deck, I pick up a piece of paper, and start to draw the story and graphs by hand writing. It's a more efficient way to figure out the story and message you want to deliver and allows you to review on a audience point before you start to build the deck.
