Advancement of technology makes the world more diverse. Transformation of technology into application makes the world dynamic. Under the background of any occurence of Industrial Revolution, those who make use of the technology best will thrive. VR has been invented for more than 3 years, but attention of most industries is focused on how to make use of it on shopping experience improvement. Nintendo becomes the first company to make hit application out of it. Pokemen Go became successful worldwide because of its innovative mode for players. So being creative is indeed a key to successful business innovation.

This looks a little over emphasized the function of robotic development.
I do agree that machines can make decisions by calculating mass amount of data, but generally those will be the "safest" decision, which is usually good for big companies that can't afford much risks.
After all, creativity and critical think were brought to top 3 skills which is exactly the natural drawback of machines. Individuals and small start ups still need aggressive tactics which may never be considered by giant companies. Also, communication skills should never fall out from the skill set from a person, especially those who does commercial functions.

The article provides great insight about Fourth Industrial Revolution. Especially for recent years we can definitely notice the disruption of the Industry. From an insider's point of view, from video gaming to mobile gaming, creativity has played a crucial role of the industry revolution, and made China became No.1 biggest mobile gaming market within 3 years. Yes, China doesn't have Google Play so we can't share a lot of fun with everyone else outside of mainland China. But I couldn't help but wonder, is it also because China doesn't have Google, so we built our own entertainment land with customised Android system, and of course, with the creativity comes from such a competitive market.

The article emphasizes the importance of creativity in the future. I agree with the point that creativity is the distinct feature of human being which can not be easily substituted. With the influence of technology development, skills like quality control will be replaced by human being. However, just the word creativity is not detailed enough for us to follow up. I am just wondering: Can creativity be learned? What can we do to improve creativity and Will it really works?

From the report of "The Future of Jobs", I truly agree with the barriers for industrial changes. From both companies I worked at, I could feel the significance of understanding of the disruptive changes. Video and mobile game industry grows fast and always requires adaption. However, the pressure from shareholders, short-term profitability and insufficient priority by top management were the obstacles for companies to do so. Mindset changing from top to bottom is expected to happen soon to be able to catch up on the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

After reading the book and this article, I totally agreed that creativity will become one of the most needed skills in the future. The innovation of products、procedures and even management behaviors can lead to the new business, which will bring high revenue. Steve Jobs, the former CEO of apple,is a good example of innovation. He started an age of smart mobile phones, and changed everyone’s life, which brought APPLE a great company these years. In my idea, creative thinking is very important in the future business management.

i think creativity comes from something different.It could be the details others never noticed,the angles others never view,and the method others never use.And thus creativity needs us to keep open minded to embrace things new;may be that is the psychology of empty cup.

the article remind me of a comics i read long time ago. in the comic, it shows that human may only have their huge brain in the future. with the rapid development of technology, even the rise of artificial intelligence, we should reposition our role in the future industry. since the AI also need time to learn, the only thing that could not be replaced is our quick reaction to the complex environment and the creativity ability.

Work today is increasingly collaborative and focused on solving complex problems in creative ways. Work is also more trans-disciplinary than before: just look at how Google hired psychologists to help coders design fonts, and anthropologists to better understand how their users think and behave. The problem is that none of these skills are easy to learn alone, online, or without effort. They take practice, and they demand rich, human interactions. We learn to be complex thinkers, to manage relationships, and to be emotionally intelligent by practicing those skills, with others, on problems big and small. There is no doubt that technological trends and the list of skills above will continue to shift over the next five years. Adaptation will be the order of the day. Workers at all levels will need to continue learning new knowledge and gaining new skills throughout their lives.

No matter how to emphasize the importance of the robot ，is not much engough Due to the robot would be work under longer time, more intricacy , more complex, more dangerous and more boring work which compare with human being. Meanwhile , with the cost decrease, technology matures, there will be more and more robots go on their own jobs, thereby replacing more manual labor, and even low-end mental workers, such as sports reporter, recorder in factory.
Therefore, if anyone want to thrive in the fourth industrial revolution, they must have 10 skills as the article mentioned ,which far beyond than their last generation .

Thinking: Critical Thinking\Creativity\Cognitive Flexibity
Interpersonal Relationships:Negotiation skills/Coordinate with others/Active Listening/Share views and comments
Exeuction: Judgement and decision making/Complex Problem Solving/ Time Management/Result Orientation
This is an circle of thinking before anything, share with other to optimize the idea and then come up with a detailed plan for action, through action, think about how to make continus improvements.....

These skills are all that we need in the future and we should further think how to make full use of these skills.

How to prepare yourself is a challenge for everyone in this volatile environment. What changed the world? People's minds. You shall never underestimate the power of thinking. Your way of organizing your thinking is not inborn, but can be managed and trained.

After read this article, I remembered another article I recent read, is about 10 jobs which will be replaced by robot in the future. I am totally agree with that the cretivity is an impaortant feature in the future work, since it is the very important point that we could distinguish us ( human beings) with robots, and also the skill that need interacton between people.

I feel happy about the future, as machines will do a lot of work instead of us so that we can be freed to do more creative work. I feel sad about the future, because I'm afraid that machines and robots will be do much better than human in any area even like arts and social.
Maybe,it is too early to think about this for me.

Change won't wait for us. As Prof Ali taught us in the class, there are four Industry Revolutions up to now: Agriculture, Industrial, Information and Conceptual. Each revolution needs increased speed, adaptablity and creativity All the skills we need to thrive in the Fourth Industrial Revolution are those can't be replaced by hi-tech and robots. Such as creativity and critical thinking. Those 10 skills listed could be concluded in 2 categories: brain management and people management.

Quite interested in the new listing skill, emotional intelligence, which I think is one of the most important skill for the leader. In year 2020, the world will not in lack of talents, since education and technology will so well developed. So how to be outstanding among so many talents? I think, being an influential person, with well temper control, can attract talents around, and spontaneously work for him. While emotional intelligence is quite difficult to cultivate. Unlike other skills, if you practice more, the skills may be more sophisticated. I think emotional intelligence is kind of nature born, but more experience may help to improve a bit.

The world fastly develops in a time that there is not a job in some industry can exist and secure the income for the whole life. The skills needed 5 years later is very different from today. Company can replace human being to do a lot of things that challenges today's human being's competence. Being creative, emotional control, will not be replaced by computer as this can only be achieved by people. And, be prepared about one day there is one discuption in the industry that will remove your job. This is always the stage of industry development.

I think creativity and innovation will become one of the top three skills in the coming five years. Innovation refers to the existing mode of thinking, which is different from the normal or ordinary people, in a specific environment, in line with the idealized needs or to satisfy the needs of society, and improve or create new things, methods, elements, the path, the environment, and can get a good result.

With the advent of conceptual age, the required skills is developing continuously. I categorized them into two parts, internal essence and external tool. No doubt creativity is the core in the attribute. We need to take advantage of available expertise to networking & influencing others, where creativity might be sparked and realize more potential for the individual.

After reading "The 10 skills you need to thrive in the Fourth Industrial Revolution",I gradually realize that how important is what I am learning now. In the future,much more work can be done by robots or other advanced machine. What can not be replaced is all related to thoughts. Creativity,problem solving and critical thinking are all about human minds. This also gives me a warning that I need to train my brain and thinking way to catch up with the fast-developing world.
